Pembrokeshire paths has really been in the news during the last couple of months.
We were interviewed for Radio Wales country focus programme about nordic walking which was broadcast in January and we have also recorded two interviews during the last month for Radio Pembrokeshire.
We also received a double centrefold article in the Pembrokeshire Farmer concerning nordic walking in the countryside.
The Best Walks of Pembrokeshire - 1st Thursday of month
Pembrokeshire paths have commenced a monthly series of guided walks "The best walks of Pembrokeshire".
We have carefully chosen some of the best walks in Pembrokeshire and each month we will choose a different walk for you to enjoy. Each month will highlight a different area of Pembrokeshire and if you join us on our monthly walks you will soon begin to build up your knowledge of Pembrokeshire, it's history and tales and legends and the wildlife.
By joining us each month you will also begin to appreciate the changing seasons and the changing landscapes. We will choose a variety of walk landscape and habitat. From Coastal cliffs and coves to wooded vales, river valleys and hill top climbs.
So please check out our regular monthly walks and begin to explore and experience the changing scenes of Pembrokeshire.

The Preseli walking Festival - 2009 - The Preseli Circle Walking Trail – a 4 day walk along the inland path from Cardigan to Fishgaurd - 9th and 10th May 2009 - Cardi Bach and the Preseli Hills 24th and 25th May 2009 - The Preseli Hills and the Gwaun valley. As part of the Preseli walking festival this is a unique opportunity to join in with a 4 day walk, following along the inland route of the Preseli Circle Walking trail. Newport Bay Spring Festival - Andrew Dugmore will again be leading a 15 mile walk across the Preseli Hills from Croesfihangel to Newport on Saturday 2nd May.
This is a strenuous all day walk and you will need to be prepared.
Andrew will also be leading a nordic walking workshop on Monday 4th May at 10:30am, as part of the festival.

Baptist heritage trails - From Rhydwilym
Pembrokeshire paths in association with the local Baptist churches, is organising a series of 3 Baptist trails to coincide with the the anniversary of 200 years at Bethesda Church Narberth. Ecotherapy walks with Pembrokeshire paths
Autumn 2007 Andrew is again facilitating a walking group that will offer an encouraging and supportive environment for those who have suffered from problems of mental distress. The group is currently being run as a voluntary group and is open to anyone who feel that they may benefit from the health benefits of a social countryside walk . The clinical term for the therapeutic benefits of countryside walking is Ecotherapy.
