Retreat from the hustle and bustle, a journey to refresh
All the selected tours include walk tour, meal and transport pick up points from
Tenby, Saundersfoot and Narberth.
Beneath the Preseli hills – a 2 ½ m walk along the beautiful hidden valley of the Cleddau Ddu. Visiting Rhydwilym a cradle for the worldwide Baptist Church. We will hear about the character of the local people, people ready to stand up for their cause and concern. Thomas Rees of Carnabwth was believed to be Rebecca of the Rebecca riots.

The timelessness of the Gwaun valley – step back in time and follow a 4 ½ mile path descending down into the secluded and mysterious Gwaun valley. The path follows over Foel Eyri ( the hill of the eagle ) and on our descent we will hear of Celtic saints and angels and some strange stories of Gwaun folk . Our final resting stop and watering hole Dyffryn Arms, will really take us back in time.

The Preseli path – a 3.5 m path will lead us to the highest point in Pembrokeshire (the easy way) where we will hear tales of King Arthur's battle with the Twrch Trwyth as narrated in the book of Welsh folk lore “The Mabinogian”. Return for a delightful supper and be driven home.

Bluestone trail – a 4 mile trek along the Golden Road to the Bluestone quarry, the source of the stones for the inner circle of Stonehenge. Return for an excellent supper & be driven home.

Transport pick up points at Tenby, Saundersfoot and Narberth.
Please wear suitable footwear and rain gear, paths muddy in places and weather can change.
Be aware that there are some steep sections on the paths.
